I had been suffering from severe morning sickness (throwing up every day, multiple times a day) and tried a whole bunch of options recommended by the Dr from B vitamins to medications and nothing worked. I tried acupuncture as a last resort and I really wish I had tried it sooner. I have not thrown up once since my first treatment over a month ago. I did have to go back in a week or two later for follow ups because my morning sickness is so severe, but seriously, this was a game changer. I feel like I got my life/body back. Dresden made me feel listened to and addressed all of my concerns. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and check in with me as well as give me treatment options and explained everything very thoroughly. (Im rather anxious because I dont want to harm the baby in any way and Dresden helped answer all of my questions.) I highly recommend Points of Health and plan to come back to have other ailments attended to after the delivery of my baby.

This place is awesome! Not only are the acupuncturists here incredibly knowledgeable, but they are all very laid back and easy to talk too. The treatment rooms are very relaxing and I find myself wishing I could lay there all day with needles stuck in me! I$0027ve been getting my treatments done by Erik Smith (I was referred to him by my P.T. actually…called him a «magic man»…I$0027d have to agree). When I first went to see him, I had a stress fracture in my lower leg that had me in incredible amounts of pain all of the time. I was shocked at how much the pain subsided in just one treatment. I continued to see him throughout my recovery process as I started training again and I am certain I would not have healed anywhere near as quickly without his help. I now go in to see him whenever I feel the onset of an injury. I$0027ve also just recently been to him to help me get over some stress-induced insomnia. He was magical again there too- got me right back on a normal sleep schedule. He has supplemented some of my treatments with Chinese herbs when he thinks it will help, but never pushes them to jack up the cost of the visit (which I have experienced with other acupuncturists). As an athlete, I need people who I can depend on to help me when my body isn$0027t cooperating. Erik is definitely one of them.
